Roman heat

My family arrived for an awesome week of trips. One of our longer trips was to the capital of Italy, Rome. Rome was definitely the touristy part of Italy. It was a crazy time navigating public transport with my family. Our hotel was located near the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, so that was a daily sight. The city was very typical Italian with local shops and cute cobblestoned streets with motorbikes whizzing by us. We decided to go on a tour of the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basillica, which was incredible and also incredibly crowded. We then went on a tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. We were definitely in the south of Italy because it was extremely hot and we were under- nourished for the day’s events. We all crashed after our meal and really spent the rest of the trip in recovery.
